What is Reiki Treatment?
Preparing for a Reiki Treatment
A. Eliminate or reduce intake of white sugar, chocolate, caffeine, and smoking 7 days prior to the Treatment.
B. Eliminate or reduce intake of meats 4-7 days prior to the Treatments.
C. Increase water intake.
D. Create a sacred place in and around yourself. Eliminate time reading newspapers, watching TV, and listening to the radio. Spend time with nature, meditate daily and pay attention to your dreams as well as the subtle things happening around you.

During a Reiki Treatment
A. Take off your shoes but otherwise stay fully dressed.B. A support is placed under your neck and knees. Soft music is played to help you relax.
C. Relax and enjoy the treatment. Some like to remain silent during a treatment but feel free to converse and ask questions. It will not interfere with the Reiki.
D. You may experience a heightened awareness during the treatment. This can be an important part of the healing.
After the Treatment
A. Some feel energized, others feel peaceful and tranquil.B. Drink more water after a treatment to flush out any toxins that may have been released.
C. After the treatment you may experience a cleansing and detoxification period which usually lasts for 21 days. This can be a time of great personal and spiritual growth.
